Hamburg getting Europe's largest climate-neutral digital museum

teamLab - interdisciplinary artists' collective The Digital Art Museum is now being built on a 7,000 square metre area with 10-metre high ceilings in eastern HafenCity in Hamburg. TeamLab collaborates with vegan ramen shop, creates the most photogenic noodle spot in Tokyo

TeamLab’s digital art instillations continue to be hugely popular with art lovers all over, and their latest venture sees them dipping into the world of one of Japan’s greatest exports — ramen. But not just any kind of ramen; as the name suggests, Vegan Ramen UZU specialises in plant-based vegan ramen. The collaboration originally began way back in March 2020, when teamLab designed an art instillation in Vegan Ramen UZU’s Kyoto branch. The collaboration was a huge success with people lining up, waiting to enter the restaurant for up to an hour. (Excerpt from the text)

teamLab Planets in Tokyo to open a dining experience, art space and flower shop on Oct 8

TOKYO-teamLab Planets TOKYO in Toyosu, Tokyo welcomes Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo” from Kyoto; a new artwork space; and a flower shop where visitors can take home the orchids used in one of the museum’s artworks. Vegan Ramen UZU Kyoto opened in Kyoto in March of 2020, becoming hugely popular with hour-long wait times. Inside the teamLab Sauna: Sweat, Steam, and Floating Artworks

In the midst of international lockdowns and restrictions, we have developed a new relationship with our surroundings, becoming more conscious of how we move in, around, and through space. We spent an inordinate amount of time indoors, examining nature through the veil of window panes, doorways, fire escapes, rooftops, or even through security cameras signaling the arrival of deliveries. During a period of collective anxiety as well as physical and emotional distances, we ran into an existential dilemma that asked us to consider the nature of survival whilst being entirely removed from nature. In celebration of its third anniversary, teamLab Planets TOKYO unveiled a new Garden Area with two new immersive installations. The museum located in Toyosu, Tokyo offers a unique interpretation of nature when we needed it most.
