teamLabBody is the world's first web site of the anatomy of the human body with vivid 3D motion graphics.
teamLabBody is the world's first 3D motion graphics anatomy of the human body.
Professor Kazuomi Sugamoto’s laboratory research team of the Biomaterial Science research Center at Osaka University have developed a world’s first method of orthopedic disease treatment by analyzing joint movement in 3 dimensions.
As a result, this method revealed that voluntary movements of living human beings are different from involuntary movements observed in donor bodies. Noticing the difference the research team, with the aid of 20-30 participants, used CT or MRI scans of all the joints and joint movements in the human body, a process which took over 10 years to complete and analyze.
teamLabBody (beta) uses this huge amount of data to visualize the muscles, bones, nerves, vessels, and joints in the whole body, and has shown heretofore unknown bone joints in high precision, showing the bones and bone movement and combined with 3D motion interactivity.
