Resisting and Resonating Ovoids on the Stones of Oblivion

teamLab, 2019, Interactive Digital Installation, Endless, Sound: Hideaki Takahashi

The resisting and resonating ovoids, placed on the foundation stones of the former castle, shine brilliantly.

Each ovoid is autonomous. When the ovoid is pushed, the colour of the light it emits changes and a tone unique to that color resonates out. Ovoids nearby respond and change to the same color echoing out the same tone. Then ovoids close by to them continue to respond one after another.
