On spring nights, the cherry trees transcend their physical substance, and a phenomenon occurs.

Life is perhaps a tiny light that blooms in the darkness and returns to the darkness.

Crystals of Cherry Blossoms etch tiny sparkles of light into space, elevating the ephemeral moment of life into a transient eternity.

In the Ethereal Cherry Blossoms, the trees shed their material weight, appearing as entities drifting within the darkness. Their floating, sinking, and swaying outlines are an attempt to carve the very presence of life into space.

These Cognitive Sculptures manifest only for a short number of days, at the precise moment where the existence of life and human perception intersect.
