teamLab presents an experiential music festival in Japan - super experimental
experience by sounds and lights! Make the music festival with everyone!
teamLab is pleased to announce Music Festival, teamLab Jungle, an experiential music festival in which a vivid 4D space is created by millions of dazzling moving light lines crossing each other. In the space filled with countless moving light lines that interactively change by sound, everyone can dance and intuitively make music. This is a totally new type of participatory music festival created by everyone. The Daytime Festival is geared for kids, adults, and families! The Night Festival is for couples, art fans, and even singles!

Experimental! You don't just listen to the music, you experience it. This experimental festival allows you to experience the music, not just listen to it. A collaborative experience! You don't just listen to the music, you experience it. Everyone works as one, sometimes playing notes or making sound, sometimes creating light. A magical artistic space. This fantastic digital art space uses light and video to transform the entire venue from a viewing platform to an interactive experience!

Music Festival, teamLab Jungle

Lines of light reorganize the space and create three-dimensional objects as they converge, allowing you to immerse yourself in them fully. Dance and experience the art not with your mind, but with your body for a somatic learning experience.

Light Chords

The light forms chords; jump up and touch them, and the light will leap up and play a sound!

Light Cave

Light Sculpture - Line series. When the lines of light converge space is reconstructed into a three dimensional object. Because both the space around you and the space created are made of light, your body becomes part of the experience.

Light Vortex

Light sculptures created by light that continues to flow outwards. The accumulation of flowing light creates a living universe.

The existence of an ocean vortex is made up of the same water, both inside and outside of it. Despite this, why do we feel a sense of existence in the vortices of the ocean?
Even if the components of an artwork continue to flow outward, when continuity and order are formed in parts, they are recognized as a single entity, and sometimes even feel like life.
The inside and outside of the existence are not a difference in substance, but a difference in order.

Sound Shapes

When you touch the images sliding down the wall a voice echoes out. As the people around you do the same, the voices join together into a chorus.

BACARDÍ Jungle Bar

Experience an interactive light bar surrounded by bats and trees. When you put the drink on the high table, 25m-high trees turn to the light color of the drink, and the space is filled with colored light. You can experience it even without purchasing a drink.

Crows are Chased and the Chasing Crows are Destined to be Chased as well, Life on Collision - 1 Crow where 16 Light Rays Cross

This works starts when the crows of Crows are Chased and the Chasing Crows are Destined to be Chased as well enter the Light Sculpture space that is located in the Flower Forest. 
Crows are drawn at the intersection of 20 rays of light and fly around the space in three-dimensions. Crows chase after each other. And the chasing crows eventually are chased themselves.
The Light Sculpture - Line series uses light to construct sculptural space in three-dimensions. The space and three-dimensional light sculptures move around people immersing their bodies in the artwork.

*Student discount is applicable for the middle and high school students only. You can get your cash back (1,000 yen) at the venue by presenting your valid student ID card.
* Night festival will open doors 45 minutes before the performance starts.

Night Festival
Advance tickets: General 3,500 yen
Onsite tickets: General 4,000 yen
*Elementary school students and younger cannot enter the Night Festival.
*For the shows starting from 19:00, kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
*Kids under the age of 18 cannot enter the show starting from 21:20.

아트 컬렉티브 teamLab은 2001년 활동을 시작했다. 국경을 넘어선 연대 속에 집단 창작의 방식으로 예술, 과학, 테크놀로지 그리고 자연계의 교차점을 학제적 접근으로 모색한다. 아티스트, 프로그래머, 엔지니어, CG 애니메이터, 수학자, 건축가 등 다양한 분야의 전문가들로 구성된 teamLab은 예술을 통해 인간과 자연, 개인과 세계의 새로운 관계를 탐구하고 표현한다.
