Sketch Aquarium

All the various fish drawn by everyone swim around in this aquarium.

Color in a fish on the paper provided, and see the picture you have drawn come to life, swimming out into the massive aquarium in front of you together with the fish drawn by other people. If you touch the swimming fish, they will swim away. You can also feed the fish by touching the food bags.

Connecting! Block Town

Create a city where trains, cars, boat and planes run, by placing connecting blocks on the table.The same type of blocks can connect to each other, allowing vehicles to run along roads and train tracks created by the connections. The vehicles will evolve as you connect more blocks. What you see in the air is the view from a helicopter. You can change the helicopter's flight route with the yellow cube connecting blocks.

Hopscotch for Geniuses

This is a game of hopscotch where you hop on the circles, triangles, and squares in the water.

When you land on the same shape several times in a row, a fish, butterfly, or bird is born. If you jump on many of the same shapes in a row, even more animals will appear.

And, if you consecutively jump on the same-colored shapes, that color will spread throughout the space.

If you touch the fish, butterflies, or birds that move along the walls, the animals will dissolve into the world.

A Table where Little People Live

This is a table where little people live.
If you put something, such as your hand, on top of the table, the little people will jump on to it. Depending on the shape of the objects you place on the table, the little people will slide, jump, or climb. Place many objects on the table and the little people will play with delight.

Story of the Time when Gods were Everywhere

When people touch the characters that represent mountains, trees, birds, etc., that are projected on the wall, the world of the characters appears and a story is born. The objects that emerge from the symbols influence one another and are influenced by the actions of other people. For example, a bird lands on a tree, a sheep runs away from a dog, and a sheep dances as a child approaches it.

Crystal Universe

Pointillism uses an accumulation of distinct dots of color to create a picture, here light points are used to create three-dimensional objects. This interactive artwork expresses the universe through accumulated light points.

People can use their smartphones to select elements that make up the universe by dragging them and releasing them into The Crystal Universe. Each element of the universe sent into the work influences that of other elements and is influenced by the presence of people in the space.

This artwork is forever evolving, changing moment to moment due to the people in the space.

teamLab

teamLab (f. 2001) is an international art collective. Their collaborative practice seeks to navigate the confluence of art, science, technology, and the natural world. Through art, the interdisciplinary group of specialists, including artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, and architects, aims to explore the relationship between the self and the world, and new forms of perception.

In order to understand the world around them, people separate it into independent entities with perceived boundaries between them. teamLab seeks to transcend these boundaries in our perceptions of the world, of the relationship between the self and the world, and of the continuity of time. Everything exists in a long, fragile yet miraculous, borderless continuity.
