Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives in the Stone Wall - Fukuoka Castle Tower Ruins

teamLab, 2017, Interactive Digital Installation, Sound: Hideaki Takahashi

Flowers grow from the bodies of animals that inhabit the 60m long, 10m high stone walls of Fukuoka Castle ruins.

The flowers bud, bloom, scatter and fade away in a continuous cycle.

When people move close to the animals the flowers scatter. Once all of the flowers have scattered the animals disappear.
